40 FOR AGES 12 AND UP 256 pages | 14x20,5cm | Paperback When we hid an angel by Angeliki Darlasi “I just saw an angel fall from the sky. Maybe the rain led them astray” said Ralou, but we ignored her as usual – Toto and I were busy counting raindrops. The following day, we found the angel in the cornfields. A tale of travel and magical realism with cinematic suspense that captivates its readers, in this otherworldly landscape that becomes breathtaking. Action and lyricism are woven beautifully to create a deeply humanitarian, anti-war story. It has been honored with the Best Book Award for older children from the Greek section of IBBY – The Circle of the Greek Children’s Book. Its theatrical adaptation was also honored with the State Prize.
