CHILDREN’S BOOKS ABOUT THE BOOKS Quilombo is a small elephant who arrives to the island of Lesvos from a distant land. Dirty and abandoned, he seems so foreign and different. But he’s just the same as all the children in the world – those living in refugee camps and those sleeping peacefully in their homes with toy animals in their arms. Two unique books about how a welcoming hug is enough to bridge any gap. written by Daphne Vloumidi illustrated by Anna Georgiadou, Antigone MacLellan Picture books Hardback editions Ages: 3+ Pages: 40 Format: 20.5x24.5 cm Quilombo, the Scruffy Little Elephant SERIES FULL ENGLISH AND GERMAN TRANSLATIONS AVAILABLE Daphne Vloumidi Illustrations:AntigoneMacLellan and the Sports Therapist
