GREEK FICTION Konstantinos Tzamiotis was born in 1970. A novelist, short story writer and playwright, he studied Film, and has worked in television, advertising and cinema. He has been the editor of Highlights , a culture magazine, for several years. His first play, No man’s land , won the State Prize for new playwrights. He represented Greece with that same play in the European Anthology of Plays of the Salvatore Quasimodo Institute. Sophia Nikolaidou was born in 1968 and studied Classical Philosophy. She has written nov- els, short stories and studies. She is a translator, a secondary education teacher and a creative writing tutor in the post-graduate program of Aristotle University. Since 2001 she writes book reviews for the newspaper TA NEA . Her short stories have been translated into eight languages. Mariza Koch was born in 1944. She is a famous Greek folk music singer, with a music career that spans five decades and includes more than twenty albums. But she also has a moving personal tale to tell. He studied engineering, but switched to writing novels and screenplays in the early 1990s. He has written screenplays for short films, TV series and feature films. He was shortlisted for the State Novel Award for his novel Icon (Germany: Reclam, France: Gallimard), and was awarded the Academy of Athens Novel Award for Children of Cain (Poland: Książkowe Klimaty).
