- 2 3 - Translation grants The Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Hellenic Foundation for Culture are launching a grant programme for the translation of Greek publications of all genres into other languages. The programme funds up to 75% of the total cost of the translation for the selected works, and the current application deadline is 20 January 2023. He is the Chief Editor of Culture for Kathimerini newspaper and has published numerous articles and books on the architecture of Athens and its urban civilization. Growing up in Athens (1934-1943) Starting with the diary that his father kept during the ‘30s and up to 1944, Nikos Vatopoulos explores Athens during the Occupation as well as the landscape of teenager experience at the time.
