I Am the God Poseidon

Ι am the salt on the palms of fishermen. I am the grooves on their weathered palms, raw from rowing. I am the love that people feel for the bounteous ocean, which is full of gifts for everyone who dares claim them. Yet I am also the dread and fear in the eyes of seamen, when the sea gets rough and threatens to consume their ships in its mighty waves, taking them to their watery grave. I am Poseidon. I am a true god, no need to be humble about it.
